Till even today, the microscope’s amazing capabilities have benefited science amazingly. However, at the time at which it was invented, it was dismissed as an object to be ridiculed. Few even cared to look through the lens and those who did claimed it’s capabilities were the effect of an optical illusion. It was thought to be invented in the early 1600’s, but there is little proof to who did so originally.

Just like the microscope, the telescope was seen as a threat to the people’s view of god. Even though it was a time of change, such an object was objected to. However, it did not take too long before it took off. As it was advanced further and further, it almost became the symbol of astronomy.

The printing press was an  invaluable invention which revolutionized the entire world. Unlike the inventions above, it was taken for it’s full worth. Suddenly the general public would be able to acquire books, with their price declining significantly.
