Till even today, the microscope’s amazing capabilities have benefited science amazingly.
However, at the time at which it was invented, it was dismissed as an object to be ridiculed. Few even cared to look through
the lens and those who did claimed it’s capabilities were the effect of an optical illusion. It was thought to be invented
in the early 1600’s, but there is little proof to who did so originally.
