This is a map of Europe I have taken from the. Using Microsoft paint, I have coloured the countries revolutionized by the renaissance in black, added an orientation, . My sources include the Sose Alive textbook, my vague knowledge and the Internet.

In my map I have included the B.O.L.T.S.S system

B- The border of the map is plainly seen. It has been incorporated into the map using the ‘border’ function in the toolbar of Word.

O- The orientation is seen in the top right corner of the map. It indicates the direction of North.

L-  The legend can be seen on the bottom left corner of the map. It is shaded purple

T- The magenta title is located at the top of the page

S- The Scale is undefined. The reason for this is that it was auto-fitted when put into Microsoft Word. As such, the exact scale cannot be included, and was deleted.

S– The source of the map is http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Northern_Renaissance which I could not include on the map due to space issues.
